The item itself is well made with a SS bottom. In our Induction hob it works on one section and not the other. Needs a minimum heating area of 100mm. There is a shortfall in the volume measurement also. The moka pot is meant for 4 but of barely sufficient for 3 people using the bialetti espresso cups.

Makes nice espresso and just amazing. Love it. Best 9k i have ever spent.
My 6 cup pot makes about 4 cups of espresso. 4 cup is around 4 ounce = 118.2 ml.
Plan your pot size accordingly. I drink 4 ounce alone but this should be ok for 2 people.

This pot takes around three scoops of ground coffee. On the same temperature setting, it takes a minute less to finish than my all-aluminum Moka pot sitting on top of a steel plate. This pot lacks the fill line that you used to see on older all-aluminum models but it’s pretty obvious how much water to use. The whole thing seems sturdy and looks nice.

While it is claimed that the product is Italian Made, what I received has been made in Romania! The machine is good, no doubt.

The Made in India stainless steel Moka pots at 1/3 the price are of much better quality.
This pot is not made in Italy as mentioned but made in the EU. Bought it cause it can be used on an induction stove top too. Hope it lasts….

I have purchased over 5 Bialetti espresso makers. All but the current one have been quality products. This one — the induction-ready version — is billed as a “4 cup model.” It is not. It makes exactly the same amount of coffee as the Brikka, which is 2-cup, so there is false advertising there. I own 2 of the induction models, the first of which is fine, the second (which I am returning) suffers from poor manufacturing. Mating the threaded coffee container to the pressurized base is difficult because of bad threads on either or both. I will continue to use and love all my other Bialettis, and hope that a replacement for the current one will solve the problem.

Coffee comes out great, just use the James Hoffman technique to extract upto perfection and not more or less. This moka pot fares far far better than other cheaper immitations, works great for one person, if you want to ser e more buy one that brews a larger quantity. There’s a reason Bialetti makes the best of these and you will only know when you use one.
