The carafe doesn’t fit well and the glass is very thin also. The first time it was delivered, it was damaged and I’m not very happy with the replacement either but the original one broke and this is a makeshift.

Maid broke my original carafe and I was about to buy a new French press from Instacuppa when I randomly searched for a replacement carafe on Amazon. Saved me some monies. This fits perfectly in the Instacuppa french press as expected. Very securely packaged. As an aside Instacuppa have been great and after registering my press on their site sent me a nice metal measuring spoon.
