We love coffee. And an automatic machine is exactly what we needed. It worked really well for 4 months and then it started giving trouble. Basically the coffee grounds were not being tipped into the drawer blocking the machine from use. We called Orient who are the service partners for DeLonghi in India. They were very prompt in sending someone. After spending an hour on it at our place the technician took the machine and it’s more than 5 weeks since. No sign of the machine. I keep following up and I am told that ‘part is awaited’, ‘part has come’, ‘it’s being fixed’, ‘it’s being checked’. But I still don’t have the machine at home. Not sure what the issue is because they don’t communicate clearly. It’s a great machine. If only the after sales service was as great. October 2023 update: water dripping into coffee grounds tray and staff say that is normal. It didn’t happen earlier. Spout is loose. Both product and service are sub par.
De Longhi machine is excellent. But if it goes down the product service by Orient is horrible and they are not able to diagnose or repair the machine. So mc is good only till it works.

Have owned this machine for 8 months and use it daily. It is the best espresso/coffee machine I have ever owned. The ease of use makes it a must for those early morning wake-ups. Adding water, changing the filter and disposing of the used grounds are all simple and straightforward.
And, while some might find this an issue, I like that this machine does not make my espresso so hot that I have to wait 5 minutes to enjoy my first sip. It is the perfect temperature to enjoy my espresso right away.
This is a great machine at a great price. I have yet to encounter any issues and it makes consistently good espresso/coffee.

 The Delonghi magnifica S coffee machine is frequently undergoing to breakdown due beans grinder issue. Till now four times machine underwent into breakdown condition. Therefore requesting to replace for smooth use at our home. After breakdown also we are finding difficulty in getting service by your technician. Please do justice by replacing with right appliance. I always end up returning to Delonghi machines as I find them intuitive to use and the results taste amazing. I chose a more basic model than before, mostly because I’m not overawed by the milk carafes as they cannot be customised enough to make drinks such as flat whites etc – a steam wand is absolutely essential for to create microbubbles etc.
So far, so good. The grinding mechanism is a little loud, but I always find this to be the case with all B2C machines. The steam wand works well too.
It’s easy to clean the drip tray and grounds drawer. I haven’t been prompted to descale it yet but it’s a fairly straightforward process.
A great machine for the money.

Machine is slightly on the expensive side at Rs 78000 . However it is very easy to use, I simply love it. A very nice elegant looking machine and I’ve even used it in a professional workplace where it was grinding and brewing close to 25 cups a day and its been running for almost 2 years and still going strong.

A máquina chegou dentro do prazo e é exatamente conforme anunciada. Muito fácil de usar. As opções de temperatura da água funcionam muito bem. Na eco a água não sai quente por isso alterei para o segundo estágio onde fica perfeito para mim. Ainda tem um terceiro estágio com mais quente ainda. Café fica perfeito. Não precisei regular/ajustar nada além da temperatura.
Adiciona-se os grãos, liga a máquina, aguarda aquecer e só apertar o botão do café desejado. Tudo muito fácil. O vaporizador para o leite também é perfeito. Mas para o leite ficar mais cremoso deve-se usar o integral ou o semi-desnatado. Mas se precisa um pouquinho apenas pois ganha volume uma vez vaporizado. Estamos muito satisfeitos com a máquina.
