I am sorry, but I love chicory as my coffee and have ordered several brands. This is bitter, and the chicory doesn’t dissolve, the granules rise to the top and also there is a huge amount of chicory like sludge left in the cup. I will not order again.

I found this to be a decent sub for coffee. I mainly wanted it as a prebiotic, and was pleasantly surprised. I drink coffee black (usually decaf) and this is close enough that I get a similar satisfaction and don’t miss coffee too much. The other thing I found is that I can make 3 cups from the same EZ-Cup paper pods without losing much flavor or strength (by the 3rd cup it’s noticeable but still very drinkable). With regular coffee I can only get 1 cup per pod. It could be due to how fine the product is; it’s a powder instead of coarse grounds. Perhaps this even works with regular coffee if you grind it it into fine powder but I’ve never tried this.
