This review is for the Coffeeza English Rose Flavoured Aluminium Coffee Capsules. This is the first time I’ve tried rose flavored coffee. While interesting I’m not sure I like it all that much. It makes it a bit more like tea. May depend on personal preference. The coffee pods are compatible with Nespresso systems. Construction is similar with aluminum material used. They do not have the paper filter on the bottom of the pods which helps in brewing. They also do not have the silicone gasket seal around the top of the pods. These things are fairly minor but was noticed. Overall, I think this is an interesting flavor of coffee to try.

These English Rose coffee pods are beyond what I expected. The rose scent while brewing is so pretty! I was afraid the rose flavor would be overwhelming, but it’s actually pretty subtle! It’s there and it’s delightful but it’s not overbearing! I really like it a lot! These pods work perfectly in my original Nespresso machine!

I couldn’t wait to try it! I was so excited, since I adore all things rose, especially rose-flavored teas. I add rose petals to my lattes. I was expecting a rose aroma and perhaps even a slight flavor. I detected neither. I smell NO ROSE, nor can I taste it. The coffee itself tastes fine, but not at all like any type of flavored coffee, which is very disappointing, considering that’s the whole reason I ordered this variety. Now I’m stuck with 3 packages of NON-ROSE coffee.

I take my espresso with both sugar and cream. Both are warmed and blended before the espresso is made.
This is a mix of flora flavors and a touch of citrus from what I can see. The effects of the flora are mild, but do overpower your coffee flavors in this cup. Its an interesting combination that is really not too bad overall if this is something you have a taste for. Overall its a pretty mild espresso with a mild flora flavor that seems to win out.
