- PARAJA STRONG DRIP BAG COFFEE : The specialty washed coffee – “ Paraja Strong ” is dedicated to the Paraja Tribe of Kindiriguda Village, Koraput. The majority of Kindiriguda farmers belong to the Paraja tribe. Kruti Coffee supports Paraja tribal coffee farmers across the value chain to ensure specialty standards are maintained throughout. The coffee in this packet is carefully dried on raised beds to maintain consistency.
- ROAST LEVEL : This washed coffee from Kindiriguda- “Paraja Strong” has been roasted medium dark for those who like their coffee strong. This roast profile is our tribute to the legacy and culture of the Paraja tribe of Koraput. This coffee goes nicely as black coffee as well as milk based coffee.
- DIRECTION TO BREW THE COFFEE : We have made brewing with coffee grounds easy. Just tear open the filter bag. Pull the hangers out and put it in the cup. Slowly pour 200 ml of hot water into the bag and let it brew for 2 minutes. Remove the filter once you get your desired brew. Drink black or Add milk or sugar according to your preference.

I bought a bunch of different coffees in these pour over style coffee bag things from this roaster because I was curious about the differences/similarities to other vendor’s versions of the same format.
The coffee paper filter bag itself is almost identical to other vendor’s. You can even buy the winged filters by themselves without coffee from a few different places.
The individual sachets were different to the other vendors I’ve tried previously though. There was no air(nitrogen flushing?) inside the individually sealed sachets like the other one’s I’ve tried from different conpanies. For me personally, this is a very important distinction as I prefer the “nitrogen flushed” sachets due to longevity and freshness concerns over long term storage. But it might not be as important to others who will be finishing these off in a short period of time.
But then there’s the cost. These are almost half the price of most other company’s versions.
If you like the coffee itself, and are fine with the non-flushed individual sachets, then you can definitely give it a try.
