Notes of dark chocolate. Strong caffeine kick.
Grind is on the finer side, moka pot funnel needs to be filled lightly.

This is a problem with interpretation of product description. The coffee appears ground from sun dried beans. So the flavour is raw, fruity, and not full. Like Amla seeds if one accidentally bites into them. So may be flavour can improve if you roast this before using!

Lavazza is a great coffee brand and those who are addicted to it cannot accept any other coffee blend. It is most suitable for espresso machines as the grounds are of the right fineness and the roast is one-of-a-kind.

Lavazza is a great coffee brand and those who are addicted to it cannot accept any other coffee blend. It is most suitable for espresso machines as the grounds are of the right fineness and the roast is one-of-a-kind. Italians buy coffee from all over the world, mostly Latin America, but manage to do some magic with it when roasting it, making the resultant brew an experience you cannot forget. However, for Indian buyers it is quite expensive and hence more and more Indian coffee plantations need to work on the end product and provide affordable yet great coffee to the buyers.

I am a 3rd generation coffee planter from Chikmagalur and was curious about how coffees of big brands tasted. Hence ordered Lavazza Rossa and you can imagine my happiness when I realised that I had received a year old product with seemingly endless shelflife! (Mfg.:4/5/2020, Exp: 30/4/2022) I know how sensitive coffee is.
Now about the coffee itself…no words can describe my disappointment. I made a cup of coffee and it tasted a bit fruity, flat and absolutely no aroma! After tasting this I was so happy to realize how wonderful a coffee I grow! My coffee is so full of aroma, taste, full bodied, nutty, chocolaty and the taste stays in your mouth for hours.
