To open the lid hold one edge of lid and lift to release suction pressure. This is just advice

Description says its airtight..its not at all airtight so dont think to order this.
Plastic quality is also not good and amazon knows that very well so they dont even return or replace the product..

Writing this review after a year of usage. The build quality is good. Thickness is good too. However it doesn’t solve the main purpose as it should which is keeping items fresh by keeping the lid airtight. I ordered 4 pieces and the lid on some pieces is so loose that you can’t even hold the box through the lid. It will drop dead if you do that. I had to wrap the clingfilm in order to hold them a little tight. To summarise, don’t go for it if you are in a place like Pune where the moisture is high and the slightest of gap will leave your stuff moist but if you are in a relatively dry place like Delhi, not a bad product to have.

While the overall quality is fine, the rubber gasket around the lid seems to be not sealing the container to make the seal airtight. It might be the design so that it does not become difficult to open or close the container but it does seem loose and surely not airtight.

Real airtight keeping the biscuits fresh and crispy. Satisfied with the product. Could have been but big in volume and size to enhance the utility value. As it is, lovely product and reasonably prices as usual on Amazon’s Solimo.

Lid not airtight as claimed. Wastage of money. In my earlier purchase of the same brand, lids were longer & fully airtight but now they have downgraded quality, resulting inferior product, if you buy now.
