I love this yellow Grosche 22oz tea / fruit infuser bottle with the flip top lid. HOWEVER, the chug top lid, which I hoped to use for cold water and infusions, will not thread onto the bottle at all. I removed the seal to see if it would then thread on, but the top does not match or connect to the bottle at all.
Help, please!
I would like to sing the praises of this quality bottle, but cannot if the chug lid does not attach.
I want to use it to infuse lemongrass, fruit, cucumber, etc.

I received the white bottle, it was dented, but I could deal with that. After two months it now leaks and it’s passed return time. Ooh well

Ordered this because it looked like a good option for having fruit infused water that would stay cold.
Good- It looks very nice and does keep the water cool for a very long time. I like the top mouth piece as it is water tight and screws down very nicely
Bad – where to begin, the first one I ordered worked (apart from the issues I’ll list later) but after a week or so I noticed that wherever I set the bottle had water under it when I picked it up. I at first thought it was the seal around the top was letting water run out, but found that somehow it was leaking out the bottom. Second one didn’t have this issue
– design flaws: the gasket that is in the top lid is CONSTANTLY coming out, like as in every time you take the lid off to fill it. Getting the gasket back in is a PAIN because you have to use two hands and try and re-seat the gasket which usually pops back out or goes back in crooked and so you have to do it again
– infuser basket issues: the infusion basket has a couple issues. Because of the length of the basket, if you want to put ice in you have to make sure that the basket will fit all the way down. I. Addition to this the holes in the basket are too small so it creates a weird vacuums issue where you can’t drink from it until you unscrew the lid and reseat the basket.
Overall, very unhappy with it. The quality is nice it just needs some engineering tweaks to make it a good choice

I bought a smaller Grosche infuser and use it every day for my hot tea . Love it so much I decided to get the larger size I could take with me when I’m outside so I can hydrate without having to go back and forth into the house.. Having the infusers makes it really nice to make fruit flavor water drinks for summer months. This is a great product so don’t hesitate to make the purchase if you’re on the fence post. I plan on getting a couple more. Love, love this company and product.
