The lid of the flask is very poorly designed. Lid is very broad with small grooves along its edge which is not very helpful to get a grip to open the lid. Young people itself will find it bit difficult to open, so one can imagine how difficult it will be for elders. My mother routinely struggles to open it needing much intervention. Flask does not retain the heat for much time and quickly gets cold. I am very surprised to think this is a product designed by Milton. A red Milton sticker is stuck as seen in the pic. Poor design aspects and poor heat resistance. Please don’t spend (waste) your money on this product.

I purchased 1 Jug from local retail showroom at 500/-. MRP was 531/- Then I compared price on AMAZON where the price was just 299/- So, I booked 2 more. Totally I have 3 jugs. All of them good enough. As these have stainless steel inner material, water will stay safe and pure for long time. Those who feel that these are NOT retaining cool or heat, please compare prices of 2-layered vacuum flask which is being sold at Rs. 500/- for 500 ml. So this Milton cool jug of 1.5 liters being sold at Rs. 300/- does great job of storing liquids hot or cold for FEW hours especially when you look at its price…!
Those who commented that the jug leaks, should know that these are for table top use in vertical position . So, when used vertically, there will not be leakage problem.
All in all…. great purchase on Amazon especially when I compare retail shop and Amazon online prices.
