The lid has no rubber ring –
I really wanted to like this insulated bottle. It is very pretty and at 16 oz, perfect for my needs. However, the inside of my bottle smells like moth balls and makes the water inside also taste like what I would imagine moth balls to taste like. It does keep the drink hot for many hours, but, unfortunately, I cannot get over the smell…

I purchased this insulated bottle mainly because (1) completely dishwasher safe (2) drinking surfaces completely protected from dirt, etc. when lid is screwed on
What I like: the silicone ring in the lid is easy to remove and install back for cleaning
What I’m not a fan of: the texture to the silicone outer wrap. I picked the terrazzo blush because it looked cute in pictures but am not sold on the random bumpy texture or the tolerances of the wrap meeting the edges of the bottle
Summary: generally happy with this insulated bottle, would prefer the outer silicone wrap be uniformly smooth

I still have ice a day later. Because of the ceramic coating, no metallic taste. By far my go-to water “bottle” and attractive, to boot!

Doesn’t change the taste of the drink. Super cute design, very pleasant to hold and to drink from. Easy to wash, silicone parts don’t collect dirt. I use it all the time.
