I have had this French press for about 2-3 weeks and so far it has been wonderful. Much better experience and taste than using k-cups (much cheaper as well). Probably some of the best made cups of coffee I’ve had.
Pros:
– Great taste
– Solid construction
– Great value for both French press and milk frother
– Much much cheaper than k-cups or buying coffee from Dunkin or Starbucks
– Perfect size for making cups for myself or for multiple other people
Cons:
– Takes somewhat longer to make than using a Keurig, which I’m perfectly fine with myself. But it’s very easy to make while you get breakfast ready or go brush your teeth or something
– Cleaning out the press after each use. This is again not the end of the world for me personally but something to take into consideration. Clean-up is pretty quick though.
– Only one marker for 16oz, it would be nice to have more increments for when I want to make smaller or larger amounts. I’ve found the approximate place to fill it for one mug full for myself pretty easily though. It would just be a nice addition to have more marks.
Overall this is a great French press at a great price. This is my first time using a french press and it has so far been a great experience. Hopefully I don’t have any issues with the glass breaking or anything, but based on other reviews it seems as though the company is very good about replacing broken presses, which was another reason I decided to purchase this press.

There is very little not to love about this coffee maker and I am now writing this review after using it almost every single day since June 2020.
Cleaning
Very easy to clean as the glass is super high quality and a simple hand wash with soapy water works really well for normal use. Even after months and months and months of use their was no staining on the inside or fading of the measurement marks
The filter is similarly easy to clean and we ran ours through the dishwasher every third or fourth use with no issues and had no clogging or slowing of pour through. The filter also has shown zero sign of rust with very little maintenance aside from rinsing it out with warm water and air drying when done.
Coffee Quality
I found that using about 4-5 scoops with the included scooper made a very nice and not too strong brew and when filled past the top mark would often yield several cups. Often when brewing for me and my partner we would pour over with this amount of coffee until it reaches the filter and then finish the pour while holding the filter above the rising coffee. The filter added no taste and with the included silicon base it often stayed quite warm for about an hour while siting out.
Warranty
The warranty was very easy to use as we found out when the glass was unfortunately damaged and we reached out via email. They very quickly shipped out a replacement unit at no cost to us with no questions asked and were very friendly when contacted via email.
Complaints
Don’t really have any aside from perhaps the handle on the filter being a bit small? Might just be that I have hands on the larger side.
Otherwise no real issues in any other aspect of use or care.
Overall would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a solid, dependable and very nice looking pour over kit.

I was also looking avoid having to purchase coffee filters all of the time, and wanted better tasting coffee, that didn’t require electricity to brew – all while looking beautiful on my counter space. After searching on Amazon, Bean Envy’s pour-over coffee maker fit the bill.
The most important prerequisite for me was to purchase one with a durable reusable filter that worked properly — meaning, I wouldn’t get coffee grounds migrating into my cup of coffee, and that didn’t look or feel flimsy. I read so many reviews related to other similar coffee makers where these were issues.
Bean Envy’s pour-over coffee maker really works the way its supposed to. Not only do the coffee grounds remain in the filter, this unit works perfectly.
The reasons I love Bean Envy’s pour-over coffee maker are:
⁃ The silicone pad on the bottom of the carafe.
⁃ A durable coffee filter that keeps grounds in the filter.
⁃ An actual handle on the carafe.
⁃ Both carafe and filter are easy to clean and maintain.
After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned about how slowly the brewed coffee came through the filter, however, I have never had that problem at all. I can’t understand why some stated as such because Bean Envy’s filter works just fine.
The one thing I truly recommend to those who get coffee maker is that they thoroughly read through the entire instructional booklet that comes with the coffeemaker. It explains what you need to know to brew a great cup of coffee, in addition to cleaning and maintaining the coffee maker.
I love this thing! I look forward to making my coffee each morning. I’ve been enjoying the best coffee I’ve ever brewed, and cleanup is quick. This is absolutely one of the best purchases I’ve made in quite a long time! I truly recommend this coffee maker!
