It’s very easy for any age to understand to use it ,it’s very fast in filtering coffee….perfect decoction can be made with this .I want to buy another one and gift this to my south Indian in laws who are coffee lovers ……totally recommend prethi zest for any filter coffee lover

Replaced with a new one. Product looks solid. Only thing I don’t like in the design is the cap on the top which is removed to fill in water. The cap is not fixable.
I ordered based on the positive reviews. The machine is not working. Water not boiling even after 15 min. Have ordered replacement. Will update the review after checking the replaced one.

I use 2 heaped teaspoons of coffee to get 500 ml of piping hot strong coffee in under 5 minutes. Filters and the steel jug are easy to clean. Very happy with performance. The jug handle – on the right hand side bottom end is not finished properly. The chromed part is not seated into the black plastic handle fully and has a rough edge. Could have been attended to. Other than that – very good product for coffee lovers.
After using the product for a few weeks, I have to dd the following: 1. Decoction quality and time – no complaint what-so-ever. Am enjoying the flavour and strength of the decoction. 2. The polished heater plate gets scratched. No sure it it is metal or plastic or mirrored glass. Either way, scratches should not form. I have a scratched ring on the plate. 3. It could be on account of the filter having a flat base (other coffee makers have a conical filter), quite often, the decoction tends to collect and form a pool on the net of the 2nd filter (the larger one) One has to tilt the filter this way and that for all the decoction to drain out.

If you want well cooked and filtered coffee and have the time to wait for it, then this Dripcafe Coffee Maker is perfect. It’s a drip cafe so that means it will take a few minutes for proper heating the ground coffee than having it filtered. The process may take some time but the absolute produce is fine smooth coffee cooked in the right temperature.
