Preethi DripCafe Coffee Maker works as described, making piping hot, strong Coffee in less than 10 Minutes. That said, the Plastics are delicate and cleaning needs to be done quite carefully! The Stainless Steel Vessel is also rather lightweight, considering the fact that you are paying over 2000 Chips for the device!!
Am also sensing a slight Plastic flavour from the Coffee, even after a week of use – hope this goes away (or maybe I get used to the flavour, which may be the more probable outcome…)
Bottom Line is, decent buy, if you really miss your Filtered Coffee and are prepared for something a few notches less!

Have been using it for many years and recently bought one for a relative couple of months ago. Though an older model and slightly expensive, it’s better than competitors because of its steel container which is easy to handle and durable. The one in our house is older than 15 years and did develop some problems, but it was easy to get serviced at Preeti service centers nearby. Ordered the other black model before this, but that had some water leak issues at the first use, returned it and went back to this model and it has been fine so far.
Note: It does have plastics and rubber pipe through which hot water flows. In that consideration, older manual steel coffee filters are much safer. This plastic and rubber combination must exist in any brand coffee maker available.

The sleek design and compact size fit perfectly in my kitchen. The user-friendly controls and programmable timer make it incredibly convenient. The quality of construction is evident, and the carafe keeps the coffee hot for longer.
