It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and makes better coffee faster. It has delivered far better than other devices I’ve used in the past.
My only concern lies with the rubber seal. Although other reviews claim it has a decent life with minimal wear, I cannot speak to it yet and replacements are expensive.
Additionally, there will be drippage if you just use the filters. You can use the inverted method to solve this, or you can get an able disc attachment like I did. The point of getting the Aeropress was to have less hassle in the morning, and I do not want to trust myself inverting coffee at dawn as my brain stem flails about attempting to reconnect to my consciousness.
Basically, 10/10.

This is very quick, easy to use, and makes great coffee. After boiling the water, it takes about 30 sec to make the coffee and about the same time to wash the apparatus for the next use. I have not bothered with any fancy methods and used the paper filters provided even though I was told a metal filter is bettter. However, I preferred the taste using a paper filter. I get a much fuller and rich taste with a smoother texture with the Aeropress compared to the plunger I used to use. There was also no sediment with the paper filter although there was a little sediment using the metal filter (I used a highly rated generic filter bt from Amazon but it was not Aeropress brand). I prefer my self made coffee even compared to going to many cafes that are supposed to serve very good coffee. Overall, I’m very happy with this product.

Do note that this is the new version of the Aeropress that doesn’t come with the following:
1. Filter papers x350 (It only has 100 filter papers)
2. Filter paper stand
3. Funnel
If you want them, I’d recommend ordering it from a local coffee roaster.

I am not sure if I can list any negatives to Aeropress. I cannot think of any, since the alternative to this is either a Moka-pot or the expensive Espresso machines.
Except maybe the price which could have been lower considering it is made out of food-grade plastic. But then, when you consider the alternatives, can you really complain about the price?
The only thing suggestion about this product, are other products. Which are, use a decent brand/batch of beans & a kettle which shows the boiling water temps. For coffee beans, start with low quantity packaging first, so even if you don’t like a taste, you won’t have to tolerate drinking it for long. Medium roasts work best for Indian taste pallettes.

I cannot imagine having my coffee any other way anymore! I use the Aeropress to make a blonde roast espresso beverage in the mornings for high caffeine content kick-in-the-face. I must say, I am impressed by how the coffee turns out every time. Although it’s not the same as making an espresso shot from a professional 15 or 20 bar machine, it gets pretty close! The coffee always comes out very smooth, rich and creamy — which I rarely find from espresso machines. I would prefer my Aeropress over a professional machine any day.
It’s a bit of a challenge trying to get the crema right and it’s taken me a lot of trial and error with the metal filter and the flow control cap, but it’s not impossible. Of course, the crema is not the same as shots from a professional machine, but I’ve found that tamping the grinds inside of the chamber and filtering with the metal filter and flow control cap work really well. You’ll need a fairly longer tamper, and you’ll need to add a bit of pressure to get the coffee and crema through, but you end up with great espresso-like shots every time.
Overall, it is very easy to clean. I rinse and store after every use, and then I chuck it into my dishwasher at the end of every week. We also have a small espresso machine, but I’ve found that to be tedious to clean and very noisy to use, so I opt for using the Aeropress instead. It’s simple to use, has a sleek design so it doesn’t take up too much storage space, and it produces amazing quality coffee. I’ve since ditched my French press, pour over, and my De’Longhi manual 15 bar espresso machine all in favour of this quick and easy-to-use and contraption!

My coffee used to drip through the filter even before starting the pressing but if you use the inverted method that problem is resolved.
The flavors are extracted well.
