Its a wonderful product, working as expected however the seller sent me a used product. See attached images. I asked for a replacement and got it next day.
I tried the pot with only water and it worked without an issue.
Regarding product, if you know how to use the moka pot, it works flawlessly and I got excellent coffee without any residue.
Steps I follow: 1. Always grind coffee beans yourself, using pre grounded coffee will never give you same taste. 2. I am using coffee grinder from same company and its working without an issue and giving consistent grounded coffee 3. Pre boil the water in a separate pan 4. Put water in pot and then out coffee and assemble it 5. Use smallest burner and keep flame at lowest level 6. Open the lid and observe the output 7. With in a minute the brewed coffee should start coming out 8. As soon as you see the color of the coffee coming out becomes light in color, take out pot off the flame 9. Pour the coffee into a cup 10. Disassemble the pot (carefully, its very hot) and wash under running water 11. You can have coffee or if you love milk in coffee boil a cup of full cream milk and then mix with your coffee 12. It will make two cups of coffee. I do not prefer sugar in coffee.
I use FRESH & HONEST Lavazza Gusto Crema, Roasted Coffee Beans.

Downside, water leaks between the top & bottom units, although it was secured tightly. Steam doesn’t evaporate through the exhaust pin but leaks through the unit top & bottom.

Build quality isn’t upto the mark as the handle broke off and now can’t cover it or take it off stove without gloves or mittens. 3 stars for that or would have rated higher.
Gauge of aluminium or bracing should be stronger around the lid and handle area. Stuff that’s used over a flame should be built better! No brainer.
