These capsules are excellent! Easy to use, to clean and help assuage guilt over using a Nespresso. I fill with my own blend of ground espresso and quickly and easily have a delicious cup of espresso – lots of crema! I thought of buying more so I could “pre-load” them but they are so easy to prep I don’t think it’s necessary.

I`m happy that I ordered it as now I can drink my favorite coffee, not the one which they out in other pods. The process is quick when u make a habit and it worth it. The water is coming a bit more slow than in one time use pods but it`s fine. I was trying to press the coffee inside more and less and realized that it should not be pressed to hard than it works better. I will buy more such to have them ready and just to use.

Honestly. I donāt know why I didnāt buy these sooner! They are such a good product. Never had any issues with them at all! Most of all, itās so much cheaper to use this than buying the pods all the time! And better for the environments because they donāt end up in landfills! Great buy!

I got these several weeks ago and I wanted to try them out repeatedly before doing a review on them. I generally don’t review items but I really relied upon them for these capsules and I wanted to offer one for someone doing their research as well.
I bought these for our Nespresso DeLonghi Lattissima Pro- mostly because the features of the machine were perfect for what I wanted but I wasn’t a fan of the one time use capsules. Enter these reusable capsules. I purchased 5 2-packs of these because I work 12 hour shifts and I don’t have the time to always refill my capsules. Having 10 on hand is much easier and well worth the expense. I ordered my favorite espresso beans (Lavazza Super Crema) and spent about 2 hours perfecting my grind (you want a fine to medium fine grind using a burr grinder) and tamping (lightly tamp the coffee, do not pack the grounds). By round 6 of testing, my ground espresso was almost identical to a Lavazza one time use Nespresso capsule- I compared color, taste, and even crema to make sure I was doing it right.
I read several reviews with the following issues:
1. Several said that the capsule was noticeably smaller than a Nespresso plastic capsule. The box of the item explains why- so it doesn’t damage the metal capsule or the machine. It’s pretty common sense but again, the box explains it.
2. Several reviews said their coffee was weaker or they had grinds in their coffee post-brew. You have to leave a tiny bit of room for your seal ring and make sure it’s not pressed all the way into the ground coffee prior to putting the foil seal on. Also, do not pack the grounds in and don’t make them so super fine or super coarse. Experiment with your beans. It’s worth 6-10 shots of practice to know what you’re doing.
3. This is not a cut and dry, grab a pod and go system. You do have to grind your own beans, seal them, clean them, etc. If you don’t like that, don’t buy it. It’s worth it in the long run. The taste isn’t 100% like a Nespresso pod but after using these daily since I bought them on May 29th, I’ve said an obscene amount of money vs. buying out and the taste is so much better than Starbucks and my other go tos.
I absolutely love these little capsules. I may purchase more in the future but if you’re looking for a quality way to save money, help with environmental impact and more, you won’t be sorry purchasing these. Just have patience if you haven’t done it before and do your research so you don’t blame the product without any prior experience.

Initially I was using coffee beans and grinding them at home. I got very weak and gross coffee.
As per the suggestion from the company, I emptied the coffee from the regular capsule into the stainless one. Nearly perfect cup of coffee!!
I bought some espresso style ground coffee to use. I was still getting weak and gross coffee, and sometimes the pods produced just a swallow of coffee, with the foil seal barely having any punctures.
I realized I needed to tamp the coffee in more. Now, I fill the cup overflowing, gently press, scrape off the excess and then apply the foil seal. This has produced great cups of coffee! I am so happy I kept trying! I will be buying more!
The metal pods have a bit of resistance in the machine.. probably due to the solidity of the material compared to the nespresso brand. I have the same issue with off brand pods which are also more solid.

This product is extremely easy to use. Of course make sure you have the right grind of coffee so that it works correctly. Flavor most the time is great, every so often though I will manage to have a watery shot due to the cover not stay on as strongly as I would hope.
If you are wanting to use your own beans, or just don’t want to constantly create more waste than necessary, I definitely recommend this product.
