Coffee Art: Creative Coffee Designs for the Home Barista
Over 128 pages of 60 stunning designs from Britain’s champion latte artist.
From free pouring to etching, stencilling and more complicated designs for the black belt barista, you’ll have fun emulating innovative designs such as The Swan, The Unicorn, and frothy 3-D babyccino animals. The book even includes 9 stencil patterns for you to trace and try.
Starting with basic skills and patterns, readers will learn how to create the crema (the froth that acts as a canvas in the coffee cup) and how to produce the hearts, rosettas and tulips that will be used as the basis to form more complicated artworks.
Dhan Tamang is a world-renowned latte artist particularly known for his use of colour, and now you too can create impressive multicoloured designs following Dhan’s step-by-step instructions.
By the end of this book you will be able to create fabulous designs to delight family members and dinner party guests alike.

It was a gift for my brother. Can’t really say much other than it appears exactly as described in the listing and he absolutely loved it. My bro is into latte art and coffee and this was a fun little book for him. He much prefers having physical copies so this was a winner of a gift. It came in a thick and sturdy hardcover, which made it a little more durable. I’m sure he appreciated that too. Great stuff!

TL;DR
There are lots of pictures and the step-by-step tutorials are clear. Some of the designs are really hard, but they’re good to work towards. A great gift for people who want to get into latte art.
REVIEW
The font, the layout, the graphics; everything about this book looks great! It has a good number of pictures showing you exactly what you need to do. The step-by-step tutorials are clear and I like that later designs build on the skills you will develop with the earlier designs.
Some of the later designs are really hard (like the unicorn!), but they’re good to set as a goal. There are also stencils that you can cut out at the end of the book. Plus, you can always check out the artist’s social media channels to get new ideas of designs and tips/tricks.
I got this as a gift for a friend who recently got into making their own coffees. They absolutely loved it! They’re always trying new designs and sending me pictures of their newest creations 🙂

This was a gift for someone who loves and wants to try coffee art. It made their day, and will be a fixture by their coffee machine.
