These are cute. Perfect sz for espresso & fits the nespresso plus deluxe drip tray. There are some raised areas on the outside of the cup. Looks like it was caused by some sort of coating. It fits my aesthetic & is barely noticeable so I decided to not go through the trouble of a replacement.

I love double-wall glassware. In coffee cups it permits handle-free cups, because you never feel the heat outside. In drinkware, for cold drinks like Scotch & bubbly, it totally eliminated the sweating and hence the need for a napking wrap, a coaster, etc. What I liked about THESE cups in particular is the size. I want an expresso cup, i.e. 90 to 100 mL of USEFUL capacity. My Rancilio Silvia coffee maker is 1.9 cm between the outflow caanals, as you see in the photos I have attached. For comfort, the inside diameter of the cup needs to be 2.4 cm or larger. These cups are 2.6 cm on the inside diameter. Roomy. As for capacity, they say “4-oz”. Turns out that is the useful capacity. To the rim it is more. So these cups require you to exert your will power and click the OFF switch to avoid diluting that delicious Expresso complexity. That’s good, if you desire daily practice of exertion of your will power and self-control. If your inclinations are otherwise you may see it as a good thing. However, having strong self-control is very healthy, so the daily practice is a good thing.

I ordered these for use with espresso, and liked them so much I just got a second set delivered. Both sets were packed well, and the first set has gone through the dishwasher several times without issue although the instructions recommend hand washing for the most part. They’re big enough for making small espresso drinks (perfect for small cappuccinos and cafe bombon) but won’t fit a full latte obviously. For those I just pour the shot into a regular mug.
