It took me some reading up on how much coffee to use and how much water in proportion. I also got my coffee ground specifically for pour over method. I’ve been using this for almost 3 weeks.
I use a measured 10g coffee with approx 120 ml water. I preheat the filter by pouring a bit of hot water.
This size filter gives you a good single mug of coffee though you could share it for two.
The result is delicious. But it’s not “strong” and thankfully not bitter.
The only con: 1. I wish there had been instructions. Coffee for French press did not work, nor coffee ground for some other method.
You need MEDIUM GROUND for pour over filter.
2. I noticed today that the place the filter is slightly loose at its joint. I hope it doesn’t come apart.

Exactly as I wanted, the fine residues of Kerala coffee powder are no more than 5 percent in the cup now. Easy to wash, size is apt. As the mesh is very fine it surely takes some time to strain, but seeves the purpose very well.

I had been looking a coffee filter for the longest time and was happy to discover this item. It’s pretty neat, easy to clean and certainly filters out the tiniest of coffee granules. I like how the sieve design is deep so you can fully immerse it in the cup while straining. One can easily replace this with paper filters and be happy with the zero waste satisfaction!
